Create the Look and Feel
What is the “feel” you are going for? Vintage, Modern, Hip, Chic, Shabby… there are colors and patterns that compliment each feeling and the right branding can make your sale stand out from all the rest. The first “visual” impression is very important to potential shoppers and vendors!

I have a few places and people I follow for inspiration…

1. Creative Market, is an online marketplace for handcrafted, mousemade design content from independent creatives around the world. They’re passionate about making beautiful design simple and accessible to everyone. These are some of my recent favorite finds:

2. ColourLovers, is a creative community where people from around the world create and share colors, palettes and patterns, discuss the latest trends and explore colorful articles… All in the spirit of love. Here are some of my favorite color palettes for inspiration:

The next step after deciding on your “look and feel” + color scheme is to pull everything together in a brand. Most likely this is the step to hire a graphic designer– from logo design to business cards, flyers and postcards it’s a big job!
